WARPATH
The third Meaningwave album with Jocko Willink. Following 2019’s THE PATH and 2022’s GET SOME. Both beloved classics, and now, a third entry exists.
Just like I couldn’t make GET SOMEuntil I’d dialed in the lessons from THE PATH, by finally getting myself strong and fit, and making strength and fitness a part of my daily life… so too I couldn’t make album number three until I faced the one Jocko Lesson I’d been avoiding… Which is why, to make WARPATH, I got up at 4am every day and got straight to the studio. All these songs began their creation before the sun came up. Before the day, I had a chance to get in the way of my creativity. Before the enemy.
In fact, I have confirmation that it works for a reliable source. MMA and UFC superstar Michael Chandler wrote to me to tell me that he listens exclusively to Meaningwave since he’s been in training for his next fight, so I sent him an advance copy of the record.
