“It's the greatest gig in the world
Being alive
Just being alive”
Welcome back to the Meaningwave Universe, brothers and sisters... Please give an ecstatic round of applause for the return of beloved Meaningwave superstar Norm Macdonald (!) with a brand-new instant classic Meaningwave Masterpiece, released just in time for his birthday.
This is a song I've been looking forward to making for many years, ever since I first got Norm's blessing to make these songs... It will appear on the long-awaited upcoming Norm Macdonald album, and I'm delighted to share it with you now.
I loved making this song, difficult as it was, because it kept filling my eyes with water. I've spoken before about how much Norm means to me and the myriad reasons. One of his greatest gifts was an incredible ability to communicate raw fundamental human truths in a fashion so undeniable and visceral it affects one physically, and then remains, a part of one’s being forevermore.
Thank you, Norm. I too like life. And I am so grateful mine got to intersect with yours.
Enjoy I LIKE LIFE on your platform of choice!
