MEANWHILE…
As you know, I’ve been hard at work on a new Alan Watts album, something I previously described as “by far the most sonically ambitious thing I have yet attempted”... which is true.
That record is fast nearing completion, and I recently took a week out to rest my ears and experiment with some new video creation techniques.
One of the very first videos I ever produced was a stop motion claymation short using some of my school’s equipment way back in 1994, when I was 14 years old… I later started work on a music video starring claymation characters based on me and my Blob character sometime around 2008, but the process proved too time consuming to be viable - it was spend a year making a music video, or make a whole gang of mixtapes.

So as you can imagine, I was thrilled to be able to create this new music video, for 2020’s classic CONSIDER DEATH, in one short, joyful week. People have asked me if I’m going to make another Living In The Future song, since it’s the 20th anniversary, and things have come on a long way since 2005… …and while it remains the case that I Really Do Love Living In The Future, I have little interest in looking backward, and would much rather continue to keep moving forward… to exist and operate here in the future, and make work that could only exist here, in the future, as I have always done, marrying cutting edge techniques with classic, immortal cultural wisdom.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this new music video as much as I enjoyed making it!
See you back here next week with a new single that is so good I played it on loop for a full 2 hours whilst working on the artwork yesterday.
LOVE TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY!

PS - if you look around the shop, you’ll notice that ALL THE CLOTHES HAVE GONE! This is because we are in the process of moving to a new supplier. We will let you know when new gear is available. In the meanwhile you can still buy vinyl, CDs, and posters. Oh, and hats! Hats are always useful. Blessings!
