January 6th is a most auspicious date here at Meaningwave. It is the birth date of my son, Hercules, (who turns ten today!), its the birthdate ofUnreality vocalist Mister Spock, and it is also the birthday of everyone’s favorite Meaningwave Sorcerer Supreme, Alan Wilson Watts, born on this day in 1915 in Kent, not too far from Hercules’ birthplace in Hackney Wick. 

It is fitting then, that today we present to you this much requested mixtape, a compilation of 90 minutes worth of some of the more lofi-tinged Wattswave work, to soundtrack this beautiful time.
