KILL THE DRAGON SAVE THE WORLD is a stand-out track from an album comprised entirely of stand-out tracks, 2019’s unreleased lost classic, MYTHOS, featuring Joseph Campbell. For complicated reasons due to the rights holders of the specific parts of Campbell’s television work that I sampled, the record never received an official release. Over the years, songs were played on live streams, and bootlegged by eager Meaningwave enjoyers. It gained mythical status in the community, and many considered the songs their favorite of the vast MU Cannon.

Then at some point last year, which had been a difficult year, following another difficult year, I found myself one day flooded with gratitude for the support of the Meaningwave listenership, and emailed a zip of the album to everyone that had ever bought merch from us or subscribed to our patron platforms. I also made a beautiful NFT of the whole thing and airdropped it to every single person that had bought an NFT from us.

The Meaningwave community exploded with joy and wonder, and I felt a great weight lifted from me.

The album is now exclusively available as a download to Meaningwave supporters on Bandcamp and Patreon, so head over there and grab your copy if you haven’t already.

MEANWHILE

The last of my three little brothers to get married is getting married this week, so I shall be venturing to Denmark to celebrate and enjoy some rain. I’ll then be returning to Mexico with the swiftness to finish the Marcus Aurelius LP, amongst other things. This will not make a dent in the weekly Meaningwave release schedule - you can look forward to a BRAND NEW SINGLE from a returning Meaningwave Superstar this week, that will be going straight to the top of your Bench Press A Bus Load Of Nuns playlists…
