What motivates me?
First of all, with the man in the cave
And this idea and this thought of the enemy
That was a thought that used to drive me
And kinda haunt me and make me get up early and work hard to push myself
Because I knew that somewhere out there, there was an enemy
A real enemy, a real man, a person, a human that was waiting
That was preparing for me
And therefore, I needed to prepare for him
I needed to be ready I needed to be the things I always talk about
I needed to be stronger, faster, and smarter and better
So that when we did meet on the battlefield
I would be ready for that rendezvous, for that meeting, that fate, that battle
And that thought, that thought of the enemy, it absolutely fueled me

The death of a loved one?

And what's weird is when you're a kid

For a while, I saw it as like a power

And people are scared, like I used to feel, that's a positive thing
And then, as I got older
I realized, hey

And I didn't realize that overnight, but I started getting the idea

And even when bad things are happening, standing stoically, said, "Okay"
